The recruitment process was initially designed to support only salons participating in our signature GAPs into Profit program.

To elaborate, Savvy Salon Club had to slow down, even sometimes halt, our marketing activities due to a salon’s need to grow their team or replace an underperforming team member. It quickly became clear, many salons found the process of recruitment challenging.

Our experience in recruitment combined with our understanding of the salon industry positioned us perfectly to help salon owners and senior managers take control of recruitment needs.

A review of available platforms to recruit from based on where the salon is trading. A selection of one or multiple platforms is decided upon.

INFRASTRUCTURE SETUP

Quality applicants want to work alongside salons they feel proud of. A prerequisite for attracting these applicants is professionally presenting the salon on the selected platform(s).

COMPOSING REUSABLE JOB POSTS

Job postings from competitors are reviewed & examples stored. Two new job posts are composed for the salon’s approval. Once approved, they are advertised & linked to the salon’s new recruitment infrastructure. Key metrics such as views v.s applicants are regularly reviewed. Reports are produced and job posts amended to optimize the response.

COMMUNICATION WITH APPLICANTS 

We'll identify & filter out time-wasters and build trust with quality applicants. Trust is built when there is consistency between the brand message expressed within the job post, the recruitment platform infrastructure, and the direct communication with the applicant.

COORDINATING & CONFIRMING INTERVIEWS

This step includes agreeing on a suitable time & place for all parties to meet. This could be for a first stage interview or for a trade-tests. A professionally composed, branded email follows up the agreed time, date, and interview requirements discussed.
